Jerry Lane

Jerry Lane, a 35 year veteran in Georgia’s poultry industry, has been with Claxton Poultry since 1985, first serving as GM and Vice President. He was named President in 1997. Prior to joining Claxton Poultry, Jerry began his poultry career at Mar-Jac Poultry in 1978. He most recently served as senior Advisor to the Chairman until 2024 when he retired. He continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Jerry graduated from Georgia Tech in 1972 with a B.A. in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
